This year we are at the beautiful Meadowbrook Golf Club with sweeping views and great breezes and plenty of grass for everyone to enjoy
Logan's city very own chilli festival, Chillogan, is brought to you by the producers of the popular Briz Chilli Fest and will be in its second year in 2019.
Everything from chilli-eating competitions, live music, hot cars, hot bikes, chilli food stalls (and non-chilli for the not too brave), children's activities and entertainment, full bar, chilli cocktails, chilli beer and lots more!
In line with community expectations, the organisers of Chillogan aim to uphold eco-friendly festival practices by:
Banning the use of single-use plastic and disposable coffee cups
Banning the sale of plastic bottled water
Banning the straw
Using only recyclable cups and food containers
Discouraging the use of plastic cutlery
Encouraging the use of bio-degradable food containers
Segregating waste disposal
Remember to bring your own bags to put in all your goodies!
Chillogan is a family day and as such we have a mix of free and paid activities for the kids. Two great jumping castles are free! Face-painting, animal nursery and pony rides are all at family-friendly prices. This year we'll even have a novelty kids-only water-melon-eating competition.
Watch out for our roaming Mexican wrestlers who love to clown around and are available for free, crazy photo opportunities.
Enter or watch competitors vie for victory in one of our crazy chilli challenges!

Opening the festival will be one of the oldest music clubs in the area (incorporated in 1989). This community-based organisation consists of a bunch of music enthusiasts based around Logan - Beaudesert - Beenleigh. An all-ages membership, they play a mix of country, folk, rock, blues, modern and bluegrass. We aim to encourage musicians to perform and keep alive the appreciation of country music in the area.
If you would like to join our local friendly group or would like more information you are invited to come along and talk to us at our social at Beenleigh RSL at Mt Warren Park. Alternatively you can call our President Mick Wood on 0412 112 975 or our Secretary, David Elsdon on 0407 027 524
